Fans of French-owned cruise line PONANT will be thrilled to learn of the fleet’s newest addition. The luxury expedition leader recently took delivery of the third vessel in its remarkable PONANT EXPLORERS series, Le Bougainville. The official inauguration will take place on June 4.

You can expect many revolutionary additions onboard Le Bougainville, including the world’s first “Blue Eye” lounge. Discover the underwater world via two portholes looking out on to the sea bed. The lounge also features underwater lighting, hydrophones to transmit the natural symphony of the deep water, and body-listening sofas that offer a unique sensorial listening experience by corporal resonance. The ship’s main restaurant offers panoramic views and opens to the outside.
