Jacksonville is also home to The Florida Theatre, one of only four Movie Places built in the state of Florida in the 1920s. The theatre hosts a number of events throughout the year, including blues concerts and contemporary jazz, rock, and country music.

Make your way to the bohemian neighborhood of Riverside/Avondale to enjoy the culture and charm of the one of Jacksonville’s most interesting districts. You’ll find coffee houses, great local restaurants, and The Shoppes of Avondale. This neighborhood is also home to several historic homes and city parks so you can just spend the day exploring.
