River cruise company makes its first tour on the Seine
The two Inspiration-class riverboats, the Inspire and the Savor, will launch respectively on April 3 in Basel, Switzerland, and June 21 in Rudesheim, Germany. Each ship will carry a maximum of 130 guests and include of mix of staterooms and suites. Suites come appointed with French balconies, a walk-in closet, a pullout couch, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a spacious bathroom with rain shower. The company’s new loft design will be featured in eight of the 225-square-foot cabins located on the lower deck. Savor will sail the Danube, while Inspire will sail the Rhine and Moselle.
In addition to launching its two new ships, Tauck unveiled four new itineraries for 2014, including a 10-day Danube cruise including two nights in Vienna, a 10- and 14-day sail on the Seine with land stays; and an 8-day cruise on the Rhine.
