Silversea Announces World Cruise 2016

Luxury cruise line Silversea Cruises has announced an 115-day world cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Venice, departing January 5, 2016. Passengers will sail the all-suite Silver Whisper across six continents, with stops in 51 destinations in 31 countries and 13 multi-day port calls along the way.

Called the “Venetian World Odyssey 2016,” the luxury cruise will sail westward path from Fort Lauderdale through the Panama Canal to South America and the Pacific, including stops in Easter Island, Pitcairn Island,Tahiti, and Bora Bora. From there, the cruise visits New Zealand, Australia, and Asia, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Bali, Phuket, and Myanmar. India, Arabia, and Mediterranean ports follow before ending with two nights in Venice.

Onboard enhancments include enrichment programs, entertainment, cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, and regional specialties. Other amenities include a Bon Voyage reception, dinner, and overnight stay at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Miami, complimentary Business Class air and transfers (between home, airport, hotel and Silver Whisper), complimentary baggage valet service, a $4,000 onboard spending credit (per suite), complimentary laundry service, Internet package and commemorative gifts.

Air-inclusive fares for World Cruise 2016 start at $59,950 per person, based on double occupancy.
