Pearl Mist makes its inaugural sail
On June 25, Pearl Seas Cruises Pearl Mist embarked on its inaugural sail out of Baltimore on an 11-night Canada-New England itinerary. The 210-passenger all-suite ship is the luxury cruise line’s first vessel.
Though it’s an ocean-going line, Pearl Seas plans to sail close to the U.S. East Coast as well as the St. Lawrence Seaway, the Great Lakes, and other inland waterways. In the winter, the line will sail the Caribbean.
Pearl Seas is owned by the same company that owns river cruise line American Cruise Lines. The line originally planned to launch in 2008, but encountered delays.
