Cooking classes from Bon Appétit highlight luxury cruise line
Set in the Bon Appetit Culinary Center onboard each ship, cooking classes offered include Turkish Arabesque, Modern Nordic, Healthy Greek, and Beyond Ratatouille, which showcases favorite dishes of Oceania Cruises’ own Jacques Pépin along with Guy Gedda, who is considered the godfather of Provençal cuisine.
The new Culinary Discover Tours will take passengers to Cork, Ireland, and Palma de Mallorca, Spain. In Cork, guests will visit the unique culinary and herb gardens, visit a poultry farm, and watch a cooking demonstration of a traditional Irish meal. In Palma de Mallorca, passengers will visit a bustling marketplace, sample varieties of olive oil at a country farm, and have lunch at El Faro, a restaurant overlooking a horseshoe-shaped harbor.
Classes and tours are available throughout the 2014 European season. Both can be purchased in advance or onboard, with rates starting from $69 per person.
