The Fab Four get a transatlantic musical tribute from The Beatles Experience
The Beatles Experience have performed around the world for more than a decade. Their performances cover the entire Beatle history, from the group’s early 1960’s Beatlemania days to the final performance from a Saville Row rooftop in London on a freezing January day in 1969. In 2013, The Beatles Experience played on the grounds of the Buckingham Palace, and continue to make regular appearances at Liverpool’s Cavern Club, the famous venue where the Beatles first gained fame in Britain.
“The Beatles are the most iconic and popular rock band in history, as well as one of the U.K.’s most famous exports,” said David Dingle, CEO for Cunard Line. “It is only fitting that we would bring a taste of Beatlemania to travelers enjoying one of our most iconic and popular voyages—a Cunard Transatlantic Crossing. We are thrilled to welcome The Beatles Experience on board our flagship, Queen Mary 2.”
During the eight-day sailing, passengers can enjoy a concert by The Beatles Experience as well as a Q&A with the group. The concert will take place at the ship’s Royal Court Theatre.
The Beatles Experience will perform on other Cunard sailings, as well, including the Queen Mary 2’s Hong Kong to Dubai sail on April, 2 2014; Queen Victoria’s San Francisco to Fort Lauderdale sail on April 1, 2014; and Queen Elizabeth’s Hong Kong to Dubai on March 29, 2014.
