The S.S. Catherine launches in Lyon on March 27, 2014

Deneuve, a world-renowned actress with a career spanning some 50 years, is best known for her roles in “Belle du Jour” and “Indochine.” She’s been nominated for dozens of international acting awards, and has also been a face of Chanel No. 5, L’Oréal, Louis Vuitton, MAC Cosmetics, and many others.
Her namesake vessel, the S.S. Catherine, will sail the regions of Provence and Burgundy on two of Uniworld’s most popular itineraries, “Burgundy & Provence” and “Grand France.” The vessel features 79 staterooms, five luxury suites, and one Royal Suite. All suites and staterooms on the top deck offer full open-air private balconies; staterooms on the middle deck feature French balconies.
All suites and staterooms include handcrafted Savoir® of England beds and marble bathrooms. Public areas feature the Van Gogh Lounge, Bar du Leopard, Cézanne Restaurant, an al fresco terrace, a mosaic-tiled resistance pool, and the Serenity River Spa.
