In 2016, AmaWaterways will add two new river cruise ships in Europe, as well as introduce an inaugural Bordeaux itinerary as an expansion of its wine cruise program.

Two new sister ships will be named AmaViola and AmaStella, carrying 158 passengers on sailings. Features of the ships will include connecting staterooms, larger suites, twin balcony staterooms, a heated swimming pool, and more. AmaViola will sail the Rhine and Danube Rivers — AmaStella‘s destinations have not yet been announced.

The additional ships will bring the fleet’s total to 18 vessels.
