In Basel, Switzerland pay a visit to the Rhine Falls, Europe’s largest waterfall, located on the Upper Rhine River.
A-Rosa River Cruises, a German cruise line that is new to the North American market, is preparing to launch a new ship on April 10.

The 158-passenger Flora will resemble A-Rosa’s Silva, but will offer more suites. Other features of the ship include a heated pool, a putting green, a grill, multiple restaurants, a wine bar, a spa, a sauna, a gym, and even a giant chessboard. Flora will offer 70 staterooms, including two family rooms that can accommodate up to four people each.

Flora will sail seven- to nine-night cruises, with all-inclusive pricing that includes an open bar, shore excursions, Wi-Fi access, gratuities, transfers, and all port charges, taxes, and fees.

One itinerary option will be the seven-night Panoramic Rhine sailing from Amsterdam to Basel through the Netherlands, Germany, France, and Switzerland. Departures for the journey are scheduled for May 10, May 17, September 6, and September 13.
