Whether you’re heading to Grand Cayman, Barbuda, or Antigua on your Caribbean cruise, don’t miss the chance to enjoy some pool time aboard some of the world’s ultra luxury cruise liners. You’ll have plenty of time to enjoy some tropical drinks, a few hours of sunbathing, and water activities before you even hit the islands on some of these cruises. Here are some of our favorite pools on Caribbean cruise ships:
Symphony of the Seas Pools

The largest cruise ship in the world also boasts some of the most amazing pools for cruise lovers. Royal Caribbean’s mega-ship is designed with water slides and several pool areas, including dedicated kiddie pools and adult-only pools. The AquaTheater is the place to watch acrobatic shows in the deepest pool at sea. This pool area is designed with 30-foot diving platforms and provides some of the most amazing ocean views on board. You’ll also find multiple whirlpools around the ship and some extend 13 feet beyond the side of the ship for a unique view of the waters.
Seabourn Odyssey Pools

The Seabourn Odyssey has more than one pool both on the main deck and inside the ship. The main pool is located on the center of the ship and offers plenty of activities and entertainment throughout the day. Some cruises allow for deploying an extended pool area off the back of the ship so passengers can swim in the ocean within a mesh screen structure. Another pool, a smaller pool on the fifth level of the ship, is perfect for watching the sun set. The spa area includes a hydro-pool and separate spa pool on the deck with cabanas and loungers.
Holland America’s Hydro Pool

If you’re heading off on a voyage in the Southern Caribbean, you’ll get to enjoy modern luxuries aboard Holland America’s ms Koningsdam. The ship is home to an oversized Hydro Pool where you can relax and enjoy a few moments of bliss before a spa treatment at the Greenhouse Spa & Salon.
