Cruise and Tour Asia with Uniworld

2014 brochure offers new options for Asia cruises and land tours

For the most comfortable climates, travel to China is September and October.
Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection recently released its 2014 Asia Boutique River Cruise and Tour Brochure, with itineraries in China, Vietnam, and Cambodia. A new luxury option was unveiled in the brochure, a combination of cruising and land touring on the Yangtze and Mekong Rivers.

The new Yangtze cruise-tour offers culture and pampering both on the ship and on shore. The itinerary offers the amenities of the brand-new 398-passenger Century Paragon and Century Legend, each of which has two restaurants, two bars, a movie theater, an indoor lap pool with relaxation area and pool bar, a spa, game rooms, a fitness center, a reading room, and more.

Onboard, passengers stay in specially designed Signature Suites, and all guests are afforded VIP benefits such as dedicated concierge services and complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks 24 hours a day in the Executive Reception area.

Shore excursions are designed to give guests the opportunity to see what life is like along the Yangtze and Mekong rivers. Sample options include a riverboat cruise to the Lesser Gorges or a visit to traditional floating markets, a village, and a fish farm. Cultural immersion also extends to cuisine, with a special emphasis on regionally themed meals.

The new 12-day Treasures of China and the Yangtze cruises from Shanghai to Beijing, with a stop in Xian, starting at $3,999. The 18-day Grand China & the Yangtze itinerary, priced from $5,999, travels from Beijing to Hong Kong, taking in both traditional and modern China along the way. Finally, the 15-day Timeless Wonders of Vietnam, Cambodia, and the Mekong explores the region from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, visiting highlights such as Angkor Wat, starting at $4,499.
