Celebrity’s new vacation spans an African safari, Turkey, and the Black Sea

Stay in Celebrity’s spa-inspired AquaClass Staterooms for more pampering and relaxation on a busy cruise like this.
How often does one vacation include lions in Kenya, the ancient city of Istanbul, and the sunny Greek Isles? Almost never – but the new Journey to 3 Continents adventure from Celebrity Cruises does just that, combining disparate, exotic, and amazing destinations into a single once-in-a-lifetime trip.

Africa
The journey begins with the sights of Nairobi, Kenya, before embarking on a safari drive to Lake Nakuru. Pink flamingos, lounging lions, rare rhinos, and towering giraffes make their homes at Lake Nakuru National Park – just a few of the exotic species waiting to be spotted on a game drive through the reserve. The next day brings travelers to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, where more exciting encounters await with the free-roaming lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, and buffalo of the wide-open African plains. In the morning, a hot air balloon safari over the reserve grants a birds-eye view of the savanna, painting a brilliant memory of Africa’s stunning colors, unique landscapes, and mesmerizing wildlife – a sight no traveler is likely to forget.

Asia
Close your eyes in Kenya and wake up in a new world – an overnight flight to Istanbul is next on this agenda. The only city to span two continents, Istanbul is an ancient and awe-inspiring metropolis that sits on the border of Asia and Europe. From here, travelers board the Celebrity Constellation for an 11- to 12-night roundtrip cruise of the Black Sea and beyond.

Europe
On the 12-night itinerary, cruisers sail to Black Sea ports including Yalta, Sevastopol, and Odessa in Ukraine; and Burgas, Bulgaria. From there, the cruise continues on to the exquisite blue waters and bright sunshine of the Mediterranean, with sights set on the Greek Isles. Ports of call include Mykonos and Athens in Greece, where modern and ancient culture meld in the form of sacred sites, charming cobblestone villages, and exciting nightlife. A final stop in Ephesus brings cruisers back to exhilarating Turkey, before the journey ends with a return to Istanbul. On the 11-night version, the Greek Isles are replaced with a port call in Sochi, Russia, the Mediterranean-like town that recently hosted the Winter Olympics.
