Photo Tour: Silver Whisper's Onboard Elegance

The cruise industry is seeing a lot of big, flashy ships lately – and while those ships can be appealing, it’s not the way Silversea Cruises operates. Instead, their classically elegant ships let the destinations – and the onboard service – do the impressing. The line prefers that their ships serve as a comfortable and luxurious home-away-from-home, pampering guests with personalized attention and included amenities as they transport them from one amazing port to the next.

On a recent tour of the 382-guest Silver Whisper, I saw first-hand the welcoming atmosphere, sophisticated spaces, and outstanding service (the crew-to-guest ratio is nearly 1-to-1!) that the line promises. And it wasn’t just me – over lunch, a couple boarding the ship shared with me how loyal they’ve become to the brand thanks to its outstanding staff and upscale environment.
